San Antonio

Memorial Day Artisan Show

Dates:

  • May 24-26, 2024 (11:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.)
  • May 27, 2024 (11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.)

The San Antonio River Walk is hosting an Artisan Show with over 40 handmade artisan booths, including pottery, textiles, jewelry, woodwork, paintings, and more. Located at the River Walk Extension (close to the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce Building and the Shops at Rivercenter). Visit their website to learn more.

 

Memorial Day Weekend Event

Date:

  • May 25-26, 2024 (10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.)

Sponsored by the City of San Antonio, the Memorial Day Weekend event is going to be hosted at Market Square. There will be live music, working artists, and food booths. Honor and celebrate our military community in San Antonio and around the world by stopping by for this fun-filled event!

Corpus Christi

Memorial Day Ceremony

Date:

  • May 27, 2024 (2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.)

The USS Lexington Museum is hosting a special Memorial Day Ceremony to honor and remember those veterans who have served our country and put their lives on the line for our freedom. The ceremony will be located at Hangar Bay II aboard the USS Lexington Museum where a special wreath will be laid at the end of the ceremony.

 

Waterstreet Farmer’s Market

Date:

  • May 26, 2024 (10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.)

Bring your family and pets out to walk around at the Waterstreet Farmer’s Market where you can check out local Corpus Christi vendors from plants to jewelry. Spend Memorial Day weekend downtown and take a stroll on the beach located on N. Shoreline Blvd.

Dallas

Dallas Memorial March

Dates:

  • May 26, 2024 (12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.)
  • May 27, 2024 (8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.)

 March in honor of our military who sacrificed their lives for our freedom and join the Dallas Memorial March! The event will begin at Reverchon Park where there will also be a kid zone, short film, storyboard procession, and closing ceremony to end the weekend.

 

Dallas Symphony Orchestra Concert at Flag Poll Hill

Date:

  • May 27, 2024 (8:15 p.m.)

Sing along to this summer concert series from the Dallas Symphony Orchestra! Performed by the US Army Band and US Army Chorus at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center, this show will be one to remember all of those veterans who have served our country. End the night with their fireworks show at 9:15 pm!

Austin

The Drop-In Summer Concert Series

Date:

  • May 23, 2024

Kick it on the lawn for The Drop-In Summer Concert Series where you’ll get to listen to some amazing musical artists. Bring your favorite blanket and have an evening picnic with the family while you listen to some good music this Memorial Day weekend!

 

Soco Makers Market

Dates:

  • May 24-25, 2024 (10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)
  • May 26, 2024 (1:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.)

Stroll the streets of South Congress and check out their Soco Makers Market! This local Austin gem has handmade and vintage goods from various vendors including art, candles, food, jewelry, clothing, and crafts. Shop local and stop by the Soco Makers Market this Memorial Day weekend.
