Paving the way for change in the 2023 Drive Away for Education Raffle

TEXAS YES Project proudly raised thousands of dollars to help provide quality educational support for Texas students during the Drive Away for Education Truck Raffle and Online Auction. The Drive Away for Education Raffle & Online Auction is an annual event helping to raise funds to support educational equality in Texas Title 1 schools. At TEXAS YES, we believe every student deserves access to valuable learning opportunities. Proceeds support our programs which include greater access to literacy, providing elementary students with the tools to be successful in the classroom, and removing financial barriers for all grade levels.

 

How Much We Raised

This year, we raised over $300,000, which couldn’t have been done without the tremendous support from our community.  “By supporting this raffle, you helped Texas students return to school feeling confident and prepared for the new school year. Our team is involved in the community to positively impact our San Antonio, Dallas-Fort Worth, Corpus Christi, and Austin youth. Our organization programs provide Texas Title 1 school districts with adequate resources and support to help boost educational equality.” said Danielle Gunter, TEXAS YES Executive Director.

 

Grand Prize Winners

We are so happy to announce the lucky winners of the 2023 Drive Away for Education Raffle. Cory Scarborough, won a brand new Kia Sorento Hybrid courtesy of Ancira Auto Group. Our 2nd place winner, Gavin Ortiz-Rodriguez, won a $4,000 shopping spree gift card, and our 3rd place winner, Martin Tomlin, won a $2,500 gas gift card.
