It’s FORE the Kids – Taste of Education Dinner and 26th Annual YES Golf Classic

TEXAS YES Project is gearing up for one of the most fun and entertaining events we host! The Taste of Education Dinner will take place on Sunday, April 23, at the La Cantera Resort and Spa. In celebration of San Antonio’s favorite event, the theme this year is ‘Fiesta’. VIVA Education! Guests can browse and bid on auction packages that include a trip to Disney, Hawaii, iPads, a Macbook, kitchen appliances, and more. There will be music from DJ Flow-Rez, caricatures ready to capture your picture, and enjoy delicious food from Silo Restaurant Group. Guests can enjoy winning a mystery prize at the Piñata Pull, ranging in value from $50-$1,000!

From Monday, April 24 through Tuesday, April 25 our 26th Annual YES Golf Classic will take place at the La Cantera Resort and Spa Golf Course. The two-day golf tournament includes unlimited beverages, lunch, dinner and course contests including “Beat the Caddy Girls”, sponsored by Delta Solar Power. The exclusive in-person mobile pro shop will be available to attendees, and includes products from Callaway, OGIO, FootJoy and Polo. The top three teams each day are eligible for awards, which include certificates for a round at La Cantera, mobile pro shop, and more!

By participating in these events you’re helping to provide funding for school supply kits for our Box of Dreams program and YES grants to area schools and youth-focused community groups. We hope you can join the fun!

These impactful events wouldn’t be possible without the help of our generous title and presenting sponsors, Thomas J Henry, Ancira Auto Group, and Spectrum Reach.

TEXAS YES is a DBA for SA YES, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization built on the idea that by providing our students with quality supplies and resources in the classroom we can help them achieve long term academic success. Since 1998, we’ve supplied students and teachers at Title 1 schools with school supply kits, STEAM development grants and more. Over the years, more than $4 million has been put back into our communities through school supply distribution, scholarships for high school students, grants for schools and educational nonprofits and greater access to literacy.
