Recently, TEXAS YES wrapped up a successful 2022 Drive Away for Education raffle. We have received overwhelming support and an outpour of love for our mission to ensure elementary students are getting the essential supplies they need to be confident as they enter a new school year. There were three amazing prizes up for grabs in this year’s raffle, which ran from May 29, 2022 to August 7, 2022.

On August 10, 2022, the big prize winners of the raffle were revealed live on television by TEXAS YES! Our grand prize winner, Jeffery Garcia from Schertz, Texas, received a 2022 Ford F-150 XLT Truck, graciously donated by our sponsor Ancira Auto Group. Second place went to Mary Mclain from Manor, Texas, who received a $4,000 shopping spree. Lastly our third-place winner was Joe Alvarez from Elmendorf, Texas, won a $2,500 gas card. We were successful in raising $389,121 total this year, which will help provide for 144 Texas Title 1 elementary schools. We are incredibly appreciative of everyone who took part in this year’s raffle and contributed to our cause.
