TEXAS YES Collects More Than 200 Coats for San Antonio Kids This Winter

The TEXAS YES Project is excited to announce that with the help of the San Antonio community, hundreds of children will stay warm during frigid weather this winter. We collected more than 200 coats and jackets for children during our “Coat and Sock Drive.” The coats and socks collected will help kids from elementary all the way through high school in the Harlandale and Edgewood Independent School Districts.

“It’s so rewarding to see the community come together to help children in need,” said TEXAS YES Executive Director Danielle Gunter. “San Antonio is truly warming the hearts of the community.”

The TEXAS YES team delivered the donated clothing to the parent resource centers in the Harlandale and Edgewood School Districts before students went on winter break to ensure they stay warm during the holidays.
