SA YES is excited to announce our 2020 Drive Away for Education Truck Raffle will take place June 1 – August 2, 2020. Each year, our team looks forward to putting on this raffle to raise funds for our mission of providing free school supply kits to Title 1 elementary students in the community and to give one lucky winner the chance to win a new truck!
Raffle winners will be offered the chance to choose between five different vehicle options in partnership with the Ancira Auto Group. Participants can purchase one ticket for $25, three tickets for $50, or ten tickets for $100. The raffle will close on Sunday, August 2 at 11:59 p.m. and will be followed by announcing the winner on WOAI’s 10:00 p.m. newscast on Wednesday, August 5, 2020.

This year, we will also host our first-ever SA YES and Austin YES Online Auction. Our annual Taste of Education Dinner, which raises more than $300,000, was canceled due to COVID-19. Consequently, SA YES transitioned to an online auction that will offer a variety of exciting items to bid on including TVs, iPads, gift cards, getaways, and more, that you can easily browse through at our SA YES and Austin YES Online Auction & Truck Raffle site.
All proceeds will directly benefit SA YES and Austin YES’ Back to Basics school supply distribution for the 2020-2021 school year. SA YES hopes to raise $200,000 combined to support our efforts and greatly appreciates any contributions at this time.
