Since 2016, prominent attorney and philanthropist Thomas J. Henry has built more than a legacy, he’s built a culture of giving that has helped reach classrooms, communities, and the hearts of thousands of Title 1 elementary students across the state.

Henry’s commitment to educational equity and access has helped shape brighter futures for Texas children through his partnership with Texas YES. The Texas YES Project has spent more than 20 years closing opportunity gaps by providing free school supplies, classroom grants, literacy resources, and teacher support to students in underserved communities across several markets including San Antonio, Austin, Corpus Christi, and the Dallas-Fort Worth area. 

One of our most impactful initiatives is the Box of Dreams program, which Thomas J. Henry has generously sponsored. Each year, Title 1 elementary schools students receive a Box of Dreams kit filled with essential school supplies to ensure that students kickoff the new school year both prepared and confident. 

Thomas J. Henry’s ongoing sponsorship of the Box of Dream’s program and broader Texas YES efforts, helps us expand access and overall impact. In 2025, Texas YES proudly donated 72,000 school supply kits. 

By aligning with the Texas YES Project, Thomas J. Henry doesn’t just provide school supplies,  he provides opportunity, confidence, and equity for students who might otherwise walk into classrooms without the tools they need to thrive.
