Texas Yes Proeject Breakie Legacy Award

Breakie Legacy Awards

The Breakie Legacy Award recognizes individuals who have significantly contributed to TEXAS YES and our mission to provide educational support to the youth of Texas.

2024 Breakie Legacy Award Recipients

The award is in honor of The Breakie family, who co-founded TEXAS YES in 1998. Since its inception, TEXAS YES has expanded to serve the Dallas-Fort Worth, Corpus Christi, Austin, and San Antonio regions with Little Lockers, free school supply distributions through Box of Dreams, and grants to fund STEAM education in Texas Title 1 elementary, middle and high schools.

This year, TEXAS YES is honored to award David Abel with Cox Media Group and Frankie Casseb.
